ODM Tool and Manufacturing needed to reconfigure and construct space in their plant for a new, state-of-the-art metal stamping press that produces parts for the automotive, agricultural, and consumer appliances industries. They trusted Raffin Construction to perform the work using a design-build delivery method.

Raffin constructed a 13 ft. deep press pit foundation for the 1,200 ton metal stamping press with a scrap handling tunnel and feed equipment foundations. The roof of the plant was raised to create an additional 10,500 SF to house the press. Additionally, new locker rooms were moved and constructed in a new location to make room for the press. Raffin Construction used value engineering techniques to keep the project within budget.
