Client Project
Currie Motors Ford of Valpo auto dealership needed to expand and renovate their existing dealership building. They partnered with Raffin Construction who constructed two additions and renovated the entire 28,000 S.F. dealership. Raffin Construction worked with the architect to provide unique value engineering solutions to keep the project within budget. One such solution was to redesign the exterior walls of the addition to be precast concrete with a brick form liner in high visibility areas. This decreased cost without sacrificing quality as the original addition was designed to be solid masonry.
Raffin Construction completed the project in three phases so the dealership could operate during construction. The front building addition was constructed first, then the showroom and office areas were relocated and renovated. The final phase was the addition of a vehicle service space and a new drive-through car wash. Raffin Construction completed the project ahead of schedule.
